Can't believe it's our last few days here! Saturday, as planned, was back to EPCOT. We mooched mainly round Future World, including Living with The Land and Spaceship Earth. We also caught the other half of the World Showcase that we skipped due to the rain. Recharged back at the flat, and went back in the evening for Illuminations: Reflections on Earth. Stunning show technically, but it didn't grab our imaginations in the same way was Wishes or Fantasmic. Of the three shows, I think we both prefer fantasmic. Sunday was a lazy day, most things were packed as it was Fathers Day, but we did fit in a game of mini golf. Well, you're in Florida, some things just have to be done! In the evening, we were lucky enough to watch one of the most fantastic electrical storms we've ever seen. The sky was aglow! Now, we could get annoyed that the weather is disrupting plans, but honestly it was worth watching and enjoying - from the comfort of our enclosed balcony, anyway! Mond...

Scooters, baseball and doctors

So, Sunday, lazy day. Chris hired a scooter for the rest of the trip, which makes life so much easier. We mooched about and explored the area, and spent the evening at Downtown Disney, which is a great place to hang out and chill. Monday, was Universal, and to be honest, we both preferred Disney. Not that there's anything wrong with Universal, but Disney just feels better. We're going back later in the week to do Islands of Adventure. On the way home, we stopped back at DTD, since the weather was better, and the hot air balloon was running. Fab views, and I can tick that off the bucket list! The evening was spent at one of the outlet malls - think Freeport on steroids! Tuesday was Tampa, where we went to the Dali museum, and the Tampa Bay Rays v Boston Red Sox match. Home team won, yay! Lazy day

Last night, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom in time to watch the fireworks. Oh, wow! That has to be the the most amazing fireworks display I have ever seen! Chris is looking and feeling a lot better today, but we decided to take things easy today, and had a mooch at the strip malls along the 192 highway, which is the main east/west road where we are. In the evening, we decided to explore Disney's Boardwalk. Similar to Downtown Disney, in that it's an entertainment area with shops and restaurants, it also gave us a glimpse of the Boardwalk resort. Based on a turn of the century Coney island, apparently, it looks amazing and has a wonderfully calm and chilled out vibe. Caught a glimpse of the EPCOT fireworks from across the lake - that's on tomorrow's to-do list!
